We started around 2019, everything we make has always rooted from exploring our processes. We’re constantly working to elevate our craft in every facet of the brand, from patternmaking and garment construction to printing and natural dyeing methods. We are constantly asking ourselves the question, will someone want to buy this?

We keep a simple but strict ethos with all of our creations and output, being that craft and quality is at our forefront. We source as much as possible from Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, and when that’s not feasible, we can still proudly ensure that everything, down to our textiles, is made in the USA. All our products are fully constructed in house, from start to finish. We design all our own prints, both yardage and graphics. Every garment begins with undyed natural fabric, to be naturally dyed by us, often done using locally foraged pigments. We think truly believing and being passionate about what is being made is crucial, because if you don’t love it, why make it! There is enough garbage clothes in the world.

Keeping true to our ethos allows us to remain responsible and sustainable in what we believe is the most realistic way a clothing brand can be today. We want to highlight our process and in turn also educate people on how the best clothing should be made, and a standard of quality. Sticking to small batches, local sourcing, natural finishes and making products that last is our philosophy.

SideWalk Store

In the summer of 2024, we collaborated with a good friend and local designer, Hieromaar, to open a shop where we can display our work and share some of our process through an open studio. We also showcase about a dozen other amazing small independent designers, with a similar focus and ethos to our own. Located on the north west corner 5th and South streets—sandwiched between a local institution in Greek cuisine, South St. Souvlaki, and a sub-par secondhand conglomerate we won’t name—you’ll find our store, Sidewalk.
